Description
Ionia Public Schools is requesting bids to maintain its district-owned single-mode fiber optic wide area network, which supports a 10 Gbps data network and digital video network connecting nine buildings. The scope includes coordination, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, routine maintenance, and compliance with applicable codes and accepted standards. The contractor must provide after-hours emergency call response, annual visual inspections of the entire fiber network with written reports identifying damage, preventative-maintenance needs, and potential problem areas, and warranty coverage for materials and labor.
