Description
The City of Edmond is seeking applications for bidder prequalification for the Spring Creek Interceptor Improvements project. The eventual construction work includes approximately 9,500 linear feet of 36- to 48-inch gravity sewer interceptor, approximately 3,000 linear feet of 12- to 24-inch gravity sewer pipeline, a microtunneled Interstate 35 crossing, manhole replacement and rehabilitation, abandonment of existing sanitary sewer facilities, storm sewer drainage, erosion control, an aerial crossing of Spring Creek, and related site restoration. The planning-level probable construction cost is stated as $12 million to $15 million. Addendum #1 revises the experience requirement: applicants must provide five or more similar completed projects within the past 15 years, with a minimum contract value of $2.5 million for each project and at least two projects valued at $5 million or more. Older project values may be escalated using the provided inflation-adjustment table. The prequalification package also requires information on past projects, key personnel, organizational structure, financial condition, safety performance, claims and judgments, bonding capacity, and proposed construction capabilities. A signed surety statement confirming willingness to provide bid, performance, and payment bonds is required. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage requirements, American Iron and Steel requirements, and Build America, Buy America requirements. This opportunity is for prequalification only; the project will be bid later, and only prequalified contractors may submit bids.
