The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation from a small business for one benchtop crossflow tangential-flow filtration system for ultrafiltration and diafiltration applications. The system must be brand name or equal to Sartoflow Smart and support biopharmaceutical processing, including protein and virus filtration, formulation process development, cell clarification, scaling studies, and low-volume work across membrane surface areas from 50 cm² to 0.14 m². Required features include production- and cGMP-qualifiable operation; a touchscreen with control of critical process parameters; programmable process sequences; a low-shear four-piston membrane pump; a 1-liter graduated transparent polysulfone recirculation vessel with specified mixing components; feed, retentate, and permeate pressure sensors; conductivity and temperature probes; and an electronic balance. The contractor must provide onsite installation, startup, software training, operating and software manuals, software installation procedures, required operating software, component documentation, and calibration certifications. Delivery is required within 90 days after award, and quotations must include a technically compliant firm-fixed price, place of manufacture, all shipping costs, delivery schedule, and the completed specified blocks and pricing on the attached SF-1449.
