Description
The City of Boston, through its Public Facilities Department, is soliciting bids for Project No. 7222, the Moon Island Seawall project. The estimated construction cost for this project is $9,877,241. The scope of work includes repairing damaged sections of the seawall, stabilizing and rebuilding the outfall, installing culverts, rip rap, and a splash wall as indicated, and paving and sodding areas as required. The expected contract duration is 300 days. Prevailing wages shall apply. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit. A performance and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
