Description
Clackamas Community College is soliciting a lump-sum proposal to replace three aging, double-faced outdoor electronic messaging centers at its Harmony and Oregon City campuses. The work includes furnishing and installing commercial-grade LED panels, internal hardware and power supplies, integrated cellular and cloud connectivity, mounting brackets, labor, cranes, lifts, specialized tools, and any required structural modifications. The contractor must field-verify site conditions, electrical connections, cabinet dimensions, and structural supports; obtain applicable signage and building permits; coordinate access and traffic control; and complete electrical testing, commissioning, punch-list work, calibration, and closeout. The scope also includes decommissioning, removal, transportation, and environmentally responsible recycling or disposal of legacy display equipment and installation debris. Proposals must address experience with electronic messaging center replacement, pricing, procurement and installation schedules, prevailing-wage requirements, agreement to the college's short-form construction contract and general conditions, and warranty, maintenance, and service options. Optional offerings include bundled cellular data plans, a 60-month full-service maintenance agreement, and structural modification services. The selected contractor will also support manufacturer-led content-management-system training and provide operating manuals, warranty documentation, and maintenance guidance.
