Description
The City of Jefferson is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-call archaeological and cultural resource services. The scope includes initial project reviews; Section 106 reviews and compliance documentation; Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III cultural resource investigations; archival research; architectural assessment surveys; tribal consultation; cultural resources training; technical reports; mapping, photography, GIS, GPS, surveying, LiDAR, ground-penetrating radar, laboratory analysis, data recovery, curation, and related coordination. The City intends to establish primary, secondary, and tertiary vendors. Contractors must demonstrate relevant archaeological and cultural resource experience, knowledge of Missouri archaeology, Section 106 and State Historic Preservation Office processes, qualified personnel meeting specified professional standards, recent tribal consultation experience, and the required technical equipment and software. Work will be requested through individual work plans, with responses generally due within five business days of a work-plan request. The contract period is one year from award with two additional one-year renewal options.
