Description
The State of Minnesota, in collaboration with 16 Health Licensing Boards (HLBs), requires ongoing support and maintenance for their Automated Licensure Information System (ALIMS). ALIMS is an e-license system with a common core codebase and unique customizations for each board to manage licensing processes. The scope of work includes ongoing development, integrations, enhancements, core code updates, and modifications to ensure system functionality, address security concerns, and provide training for staff. Support goals include maintaining the platform's long-term viability, managing it in the interest of all agencies, coordinating efforts, and ensuring all boards benefit from shared fixes and features. The system architecture includes a Web API/EntityFramework Data Access layer, an Internal Application (thick client), an Online Application (public-facing), and Reporting services. Support types cover normal application support, high-volume support during peak periods, bug fixes (including out-of-cycle critical fixes), and minor enhancements. Larger enhancements may require separate work orders. Routine communication and collaboration with the ALIMS Steering Committee, agency staff, and MN.IT are expected.
