Description
InterMountain Education Service District is soliciting proposals for E-Rate-eligible leased lit fiber services providing dedicated, symmetrical, point-to-point wide area network connectivity between District locations. The selected provider must supply, manage, and maintain the electronics and equipment required to deliver the service, with scalable bandwidth, resilient or diverse routing where proposed, and service levels including 99.99% network availability, specified packet-loss, latency, jitter, outage-response, and restoration commitments. The scope may include special construction, design and engineering, permitting, installation, pathway and conduit work, fiber termination, testing, restoration, labeling, and electronic as-built documentation. Proposals must include a service description, SLA, implementation timeline, demarcation details, logical network diagram, geographic fiber pathway map, sample contract, customer references, and required pricing and certification forms. The proposal is limited to 50 pages, with attachments excluded from that limit, and must be submitted electronically through the designated portal in PDF, DOCX, and/or XLSX format; the combined proposal and cover sheet may not exceed 50 MB. Services are expected to be available by July 1, 2027, and the contract must allow five optional one-year voluntary extensions.
