The City of Jackson is requesting information from firms, developers, entertainment companies, nonprofit operators, technology innovators, and public-private partnership specialists on concepts for redeveloping Livingston Park and the Jackson Zoo campus as a unified family entertainment, recreation, and tourism destination. Respondents may address one component or propose an integrated development and may suggest public, private, nonprofit, or hybrid operating models. Areas of interest include outdoor and water-based recreation, adventure and entertainment attractions, event and hospitality facilities, zoo integration, environmental improvements, and immersive or holographic wildlife experiences. Responses should describe the proposed concept, operational and partnership model, preliminary capital and operating costs, phasing, revenue projections, financing, technical and site requirements, comparable projects, and sustainability and community benefits, as applicable. The City requests a written response organized into six tabs covering organization profile; relevant experience and qualifications; concept narrative; financial and partnership structure; timeline considerations; and sustainability and community benefit. PDF is required, supporting images and renderings may be separate attachments, and there is no strict page limit. This is an information-gathering exercise and does not commit the City to a subsequent solicitation or contract award.
