Description
Clinton Public School District is seeking proposals for Category 1 wide-area network (WAN) circuits connecting its school sites to a district hub, as well as Internet access and dedicated transport to an Internet provider’s point of presence. Requested bandwidth options range from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps for WAN circuits and from 1 Gbps to 20 Gbps for Internet access. Circuits must provide fixed, dedicated bandwidth; proposals may offer managed or non-managed service and optional leased routers or switches. The response must include pricing and upgrade paths, service and help-desk procedures, disaster recovery information, service-location and staffing details, at least three similar-project references, network service specifications, a network diagram, warranty documentation, NOC details, and staff qualifications and certifications. The selected provider will be responsible for installation, testing, permits, maintenance, and service support. The district is considering a three- or five-year term, and proposals must include one original, two copies, and two electronic copies. Attendance at the vendor meeting is mandatory to qualify to bid.
