Description
Cobb County Department of Transportation is soliciting construction bids for Project B2756, Floyd Road / Hurt Road / Maxham Road Transit ADA Improvements. The work includes updating ADA ramps and installing sidewalk panels along Floyd Road, Hurt Road, Maxham Road, and various adjacent streets to bring pedestrian facilities into compliance with ADA standards. The project is partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration and requires compliance with applicable federal, state, and Cobb County requirements, including Buy America, Davis-Bacon wage rates, traffic control, environmental protection, utility coordination, and Georgia Department of Transportation construction standards. The contractor must submit an electronic bid through Bid Express, provide a 5% bid bond or permitted substitute, and furnish performance and labor-and-material payment bonds after award. The stated construction period is 150 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
