Description
The Borough seeks a supplier to furnish and deliver 6,900 square feet of genuine Brazilian Ipe hardwood decking. The material must be premium clear grade, 21 mm thick by 140 mm wide, surfaced on four sides, eased on all four longitudinal edges, factory-sanded to 80 grit, unfinished, and at 10%–14% moisture content at delivery. The bid specifies a distribution of board lengths from 10 to 18 feet and requires a representative physical sample for approval, along with representative moisture readings. Delivery is to be made in supported, strapped bundles protected from transportation damage and precipitation while allowing ventilation; bundles must be identified by board length and quantity. Bidders must submit the attached proposal form and required bid-time certifications and disclosures. A bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid, capped at $20,000, and a Certificate of Consent of Surety are required with the bid. Performance and payment bonds, insurance certificates, and certain affirmative-action documentation are required after award or at contract execution, not with the bid.
