Description
Franklin Township Public Library is soliciting sealed bids for the general contract covering renovations to its main library and all incidental work required by the project manual. Bids must include a bid guarantee of 10% of the bid total, capped at $20,000, in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond, along with a consent of surety. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond. Bidders must be authorized to do business in New Jersey, satisfy New Jersey public-works contractor registration and business-registration requirements, and comply with applicable nondiscrimination, affirmative-action, corporate-ownership, investment-disclosure, payroll-certification, and record-retention requirements. A nonmandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and questions or requests for information must be submitted in writing by email by the stated deadline.
