Description
Rowan University is seeking a general contractor to renovate its softball and baseball fields. The work includes surveying and laser grading, infield scarification and regrading, replacement of home plates, pitching rubbers, base anchors, and bases, installation of professional clay and infield mix, sod installation, bullpen renovation, warning-track and turf work, debris removal, and field preparation. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supervision, delivery, installation, permitting support, insurance, and a dedicated foreman. The scope also includes seasonal field maintenance: softball and baseball in-season biweekly maintenance and off-season monthly upkeep. Proposals must include organizational information, staffing, relevant project experience, three related project examples, three references, a transmittal letter, a completed proposal and pricing page, and the required procurement documents. Evaluation is based on organizational information and staffing, vendor experience and references, and pricing.
