Description
The City of Aurora Police Department seeks bids from authorized Glock Law Enforcement Distributors or Dealers qualified to sell firearms in Colorado for factory-new Glock 45 Gen5 COA pistols. Pistols must include Glock factory lower one-third suppressor-height night sights compatible with the COA and meet the specified mounting configuration; other brands or models will not be accepted. The department estimates an initial purchase of 100 to 140 units, with quantities subject to adjustment, and describes annual demand estimates elsewhere in the solicitation. Delivery is to the Aurora Police Department, with firearms fully assembled and configured as specified, serial numbers recorded, and shipments compliant with applicable firearm-transfer requirements. This is a two-step procurement. Step 1 requires a statement of qualifications, including company information, proof of authorization as a Glock law enforcement dealer, performance history, at least five similar-project references, lead time and delivery schedule, warranty information, and confirmation of compliance with the required configuration. A separate bid pricing sheet and Contractor Acknowledgement Form must also be submitted. Only prequalified bidders advance to Step 2, when pricing is opened. The initial contract term is 12 months, with two one-year option periods indicated in the posting; the solicitation states that the initial term begins on the award date.
