Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a head and fluid filter assembly conforming to Cuno drawing 52828 and related drawings and specifications. The material is designated as special-emphasis, Level I/SUBSAFE-related material for use in a critical shipboard system. Requirements include specified alloy material, chemical and mechanical analysis, welding or brazing qualifications where applicable, visual and dye-penetrant inspection of weldments, nondestructive testing, material traceability, packaging, and a documented quality system meeting ISO 9001 and associated calibration requirements. The contractor must provide extensive objective quality evidence and certification data, including certificates of compliance, test certifications, material certifications, welding procedures and qualification data when applicable, and traceability documentation. Certification data must be submitted through Wide Area Workflow for government review and acceptance before shipment. Distributors must provide a letter from the actual manufacturer confirming authorized-distributor status. Final material delivery is required no later than 365 days after the issue date.
