Description
The City of Bowling Green is seeking a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet pre-qualified contractor to rehabilitate approximately 670 linear feet of full-width pavement on West Riverview Drive. Work includes milling approximately 4.5 inches of existing asphalt and replacing it with 3.0 inches of CL2 Asphalt Base 1.00D PG64-22 and 1.5 inches of CL3 Asphalt Surface 0.38D PG76-22. The project also includes traffic control, tack coat application, pavement markings, driveway and side-street tie-ins, restoration, and incidental work required for completion. The contractor must furnish Wavetronix radar detection equipment before milling begins; the equipment will be installed by others and must be configured, tested, and accepted by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet before milling starts. The solicitation package also includes qualified-bidder and resident-bidder affidavits, an insurance and indemnification form, a full-depth milling detail, and an asphalt adjustment document.
