Description
The Virginia Contracting Activity (VACA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Kern Optiflex 80x120 Laser System. This system is intended to augment the fabrication capabilities of the Defense Intelligence Agency's Design & Fabrication Services. The required system includes the Kern Optiflex 80"x120" Laser System with specific components such as a KT500 laser source, a 3HP chilling unit, CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator software, a metal cutting package, a safety bumper package, and a 2-year laser system warranty with a 3-year laser replacement warranty. The vendor will be responsible for procurement, delivery to the DLOC in Landover, MD, installation, calibration, configuration, and training of DIA personnel. The installation must have minimal impact on daily operations and be completed within 30 days of notification. Vendors are invited to provide a capabilities statement detailing their ability to perform all aspects of this requirement, including company profile, SAM Unique Entity ID, CAGE code, recommended NAICS and contract type, socio-economic status, certifications, GSA/NASA SWPS Schedules, and information on maintenance and training. Recent relevant experience within the last three years is also required, including project descriptions, contract numbers, values, and agency points of contact. The deadline for submissions is June 24, 2026, at 11:00 PM EST.
