Description
The United States Navy intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under FAR 6.302-1 for two canisters, NSN 3H-3655-016432645-D4, TDP Version 002, for delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. All responsible sources may submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements, but the notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The previously stated total small-business set-aside has been dissolved. The canisters are Special Emphasis Material (Level I) used in a crucial shipboard system and must comply with NAVSEA SS521-AM-MMA-010, Chapter 7, Navy part number 3.80.1018-3, and applicable quality, inspection, traceability, certification, packaging, and configuration-control requirements. Certification data must be submitted 20 days before delivery for shipyard review and acceptance; final delivery is required 210 days after award. The Inspection and Test Plan may be waived if already on file with NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg.
