Description
The George Washington Regional Commission is seeking lump-sum quotes from qualified and experienced contractors to install an Alternative Onsite Sewage System for a three-bedroom residence. The work includes replacing the conventional 450-gallon-per-day septic system; furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, inspections, and approvals; installing the specified treatment, pumping, control, cistern, and sand-filter components; abandoning the existing system; performing site clearing, restoration, erosion and sediment control, and related plumbing and electrical work; and obtaining the required operation permit and completion documentation. The contractor must provide a qualified on-site supervisor, comply with applicable Virginia and local regulations, and provide at least a one-year labor warranty. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total base quote. Responses must include the completed Quote Form, Safety Certification Form, proof of DPOR licensure, proof of insurance, and a separate cost breakdown for additional services. The solicitation package includes the quote form, safety certification form, scope of work, permit documentation, general conditions, and additional licensure documentation.
