Description
The City of Saint Hedwig is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its Board of Adjustment for a two-year term. To be eligible, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years or older, mentally capable, not have been convicted of a felony, have resided in Texas for 12 months and in Saint Hedwig for the preceding 6 months, and be registered to vote in Saint Hedwig. Members do not receive monetary compensation and are subject to ethical conduct standards. The application requests information on citizenship, age, voter registration, family employment with the city, current/past board service, occupation, professional/community activities, and a description of how past expertise qualifies the applicant for the Board of Adjustment.
