Description
The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is seeking proposals for a portable, commercially deployable leak detection solution. The solution should enable SAWS to identify and locate leaks on utility-owned water distribution infrastructure, including mains, valves, hydrants, meters, and related appurtenances. The desired system will consist of easy-to-install portable field devices and a vendor-provided software platform that utilizes advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to process acoustic or operational data for accurate leak detection and location. The solution must support rapid deployment by SAWS staff and allow for data collection over short monitoring periods (up to approximately two weeks) to aid in proactive leak detection and non-revenue water reduction efforts. SAWS has the option to extend this contract for five (5) additional one (1) year periods under the same terms and conditions.
