Description
The Office of the Governor of Texas is seeking a cable television service provider for approximately 80 televisions at its Austin offices. Required deliverables include local channels such as ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC; cable news channels including CNN, Fox News, and MSNow; Capitol Channels carrying Texas legislative hearings and proceedings; streaming delivery through a supported platform such as Google TV or Roku without wiring to the televisions; and the ability to select channels and block, hide, or PIN-protect channels. Pay-per-view services are included in the solicitation scope. The contractor must provide an account manager, begin service no later than seven days after the contract effective date, and include monthly service fees, installation fees, regulatory fees, and ad hoc deliverables in the cost proposal. The initial contract term runs from the effective date through August 31, 2027, with up to three additional 12-month renewal terms and an optional extension of up to six months. Responses must address the required tabs, exhibits, HUB subcontracting plan, financial responsibility, experience, staffing, proposed solution, transition, compensation, references, and litigation disclosures.
