Description

The City of Irvine is soliciting a contractor to construct Perimeter Park along Cadence between Crossover and Chinon. The scope includes demolition and grading; curbs, curb and gutter, drainage, erosion control, concrete paving, stabilized decomposed granite trails, recycled crushed base, root barriers, striping, signage, site furnishings, boulders, fencing, planting, irrigation, electrical service, control panels, site lighting, and landscape maintenance during the plant-establishment period. The project includes approximately 200 working days for construction, followed by a total duration of 260 working days including plant establishment. The estimated construction cost is $10,520,000. The prime contractor must hold a valid California Class A license and comply with prevailing-wage, Department of Industrial Relations registration, Community Workforce Agreement, local-hire, minimum-wage, insurance, and bonding requirements. The bid requires a 10% bid bond and 100% payment and performance bonds. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required, and the bid package must be submitted electronically as one PDF attachment with online line-item pricing.
