Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 84 each of tube assembly, metal, NSN 4710-01-197-5420, part number 5-96162-37. The item is specified as aluminum alloy 5052 tubing with a 0.035-inch wall thickness, 0.500-inch outside diameter, and 0.750-inch nominal pipe size. Required technical features include specified fittings, forming and straightening, proof-pressure testing, chemical treatment or anodizing, protective coating, and marking in accordance with applicable military and aerospace standards and drawings. The assemblies must be packaged and marked in accordance with DLA requirements, ASTM D3951, and MIL-STD-129. Origin inspection and acceptance are required, and the manufacturer's inspection system must comply at minimum with ISO 9001:2015 or an equivalent standard. The solicitation includes export-controlled technical-data access requirements, including approved Joint Certification Program certification, and requires compliance with applicable domestic-material restrictions and cybersecurity provisions. Delivery is required 143 days after award, FOB origin.
