Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking six brand-name Ashcroft Model 1279 pressure gauges, part number 45-1279-SS-S-09-L-X6B-XMF-XT1-XC4-1500#. Proposed alternatives will be rejected. The gauges must have a 0–1,500 PSIG range, 4.5-inch dial, maximum 5 PSI graduation increments, solid-front case with blow-out rear cover, laminated safety-glass window, stainless steel Bourdon tube, water-compatible working medium, stainless steel male straight-thread O-ring-seal bottom connection, and ASME B40.100-2013 Grade 2A accuracy. They must also meet specified ascending and descending accuracy test points, Level IV oxygen cleanliness and marking requirements, and be mercury-free. The quote must include delivered pricing, availability, price source, freight, payment-method preference, and the completed request-for-quotation form. Vendors must provide technical documentation demonstrating compliance, including applicable brochures, photographs, technical specifications, model/series information, and any exceptions. Award will be made on a lowest-price-technically-acceptable basis, considering technical acceptability, delivery schedule, and price. The requested delivery date is November 13, 2026.
