Description
Hydro-Québec is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for specialized civil construction involving underground utility conduits. The scope includes providing the labor, equipment, and materials required to construct approximately 620 meters of underground duct banks, excavate and install three new underground structures, and coordinate with Hydro-Québec’s prefabricated concrete structure supplier. The contractor must also provide lifting equipment and perform all related work required to deliver and install the underground chambers. Only contractors qualified by Hydro-Québec for underground network construction and distribution work at 25 kV or less are eligible to bid. A self-directed site visit is mandatory before proposal submission. The solicitation also identifies requirements including a valid Régie du bâtiment du Québec license, a Quebec Construction Commission number, an execution schedule, ISO 9001 certification, conflict-of-interest and solemn declarations, and specified occupational health and safety documentation.
