Description
The contractor will furnish the labor, equipment, and chemicals needed to complete three applications for the 2026 Rural Roadside Vegetative Management Program, covering approximately 330 miles of rural roads. Each application must be completed within 20 working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed; the government may add a winter application as needed. Bidders must submit the provided bid form and include bid security equal to 5% of the base bid plus additive alternates. A Corporate Resolution or Certificate of Authority authorizing the bid signer is required. Bidders must hold the specified Louisiana contractor classification and a Commercial Applicator’s License with Right of Way/Industrial Aquatic certification; a copy of the applicator license must accompany the bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and labor and material payment bonds for the full contract amount. DBE participation is encouraged.
