Description
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office is soliciting bids for construction of a new asphalt training track and pond. The work includes sitework, base course construction, asphaltic concrete surfacing, drainage, and all other work needed to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. The stated construction budget opinion is $2,000,000, and the construction period is 150 calendar days. Bids require security in the form of a bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount plus additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must hold the applicable Louisiana contractor license for Building Construction or for Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and Heavy Construction.
