Description
The California Highway Patrol seeks a contractor to provide protective clothing and operational supply rental services for its Los Banos Area Office. The scope includes uniform garments, shop coats and coveralls, slip-resistant mats, shop towels, dust mops, and wall-mounted hand sanitizers and refills. The contractor will provide initial sizing and setup, weekly pickup and delivery of soiled and clean items, laundering and sanitizing, inspection and repairs, replacement of worn items, and quarterly inventory. Bidders must meet the stated experience and business-license qualifications; the lowest responsive and responsible bidder is expected to receive the single agreement award. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, though eligible DVBE participation may earn an incentive. The bid package must include the completed bid form and applicable required attachments, plus specified business documentation and client references. Bids must be submitted as one original, assembled in the prescribed order, sealed, and delivered by mail or hand delivery; electronic bids are not accepted. The agreement is anticipated to run from January 1, 2027, through January 31, 2030, subject to approval and possible extension.
