Description
Modesto City Schools seeks a qualified lease-leaseback developer to provide preconstruction and construction services for several school projects. Preconstruction work includes constructability review, value engineering, scheduling, cost estimating, budgeting, and development of a guaranteed maximum price; construction work includes project delivery and related closeout activities. The project scope includes replacing windows and improving accessible walkways at Bret Harte Elementary, expanding its staff parking with electric-vehicle charging, replacing stadium scoreboards at Thomas Downey and Peter Johansen high schools, and improving Johansen High School's pool chemical room. Respondents must submit a Statement of Qualifications and proposal, be District-prequalified, hold a current California general building contractor license, and meet applicable public works registration requirements. The proposal must include the requested qualifications, project approach, experience, pricing, insurance capability, and agreement comments.
