Description
The City of Carrollton is seeking a contractor for improvements at the Josey Lane and Parker Road intersection. The work includes mobilization, site preparation, excavation, demolition and reconstruction of reinforced-concrete pavement, driveways, sidewalks, medians, curb and gutter, flexible base, hot-mix asphalt, curb inlets, storm drainage pipe, water and sanitary-sewer adjustments, fire-hydrant relocation, erosion and sedimentation controls, trench safety, sod, brick pavers, lighting conduit and ground boxes, pavement markings, raised markers, signs, and curb ramps. The solicitation includes bid alternates for a southbound left-turn lane and a northbound right-turn lane. Bidders must submit pricing through the electronic procurement platform or, alternatively, a sealed manual submission. A 5% bid bond is required, and payment, maintenance, and performance bonds will be required from the successful bidder. The submission package includes the bid form, contractor qualification and surety-reference statements, insurance affidavit, release of qualification information, conflict-of-interest questionnaire, Form 1295 certificate, Texas verification, W-9, and applicable certifications or supporting documents.
