Description
The County seeks qualified, New Jersey-licensed physicians to provide employment-related medical services for county employees and prospective employees. Services include general and job-specific physical examinations for law enforcement, hazardous-materials, and commercial-driver positions; laboratory testing and screenings; leave-request reviews and second or third opinions; fitness-for-duty and return-to-duty examinations; reasonable-accommodation consultations; and, in limited circumstances, court testimony. The contractor must also provide written reports, complete related forms, administer specified vaccinations and screenings, and maintain required medical-record confidentiality and retention practices. Proposals must include pricing for the listed services and the required qualifications and submission materials. Functional Capacity Evaluations may be subcontracted, subject to the stated experience, licensing, and documentation requirements. The contract is for one year, with possible extensions under the solicitation's stated limits.
