Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 85 turbine support components, identified by reference number 5142T69G01, for an aircraft gas turbine. Delivery is FOB origin. The notice describes the part design as unstable and anticipates major configuration changes that may make the current part obsolete; limited acquisition or repair from the present source is expected in the interim. Government source approval is required before award because the item is flight-critical and/or available technical data is insufficient for full and open competition. Only previously approved sources have been solicited. An unapproved source must submit the information required by the applicable NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochure with its offer; offers lacking the required data or evidence of a prior submission will not be considered. This is a presolicitation notice of an intended one-source procurement, not a request for competitive proposals.
