Description
Lower Gwynedd Township is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Actuarial and Administrative Services for its Police and Non-Uniformed Pension Plans, Defined Contribution Plan, and Other Post-Employment Benefit Trust. The services include preparing actuarial valuation reports, determining minimum municipal obligations, providing GASB financial statements, administering pension plans, preparing benefit statements, assisting with audits, maintaining member records, determining pension benefits, and attending required meetings. The successful firm will also be responsible for informing the Township of legislative and regulatory changes, providing actuarial studies for benefit cost estimates, and assisting with labor negotiations and arbitration if needed. Proposals must include a transmittal letter, a detailed description of the proposed team and their qualifications, a description of the firm's experience with municipal entities in Pennsylvania, a breakdown of the current municipal client base, a description of how services will be provided, disclosure of any adverse actions, details on professional liability insurance coverage, an indemnification statement, and fee information separated by retirement plan.
