Description
The Montana Department of Transportation seeks a caretaker contractor to maintain and operate the Teton Rest Area. Work includes restroom cleaning and restocking at least twice daily, cleaning plaza areas, picnic tables and arbors, litter and garbage removal, grounds and lawn care, irrigation maintenance, snow and ice removal from pedestrian walkways, and routine minor repairs to fixtures and facilities. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, tools, and supplies not furnished by the Department, maintain daily activity logs, report incidents, and be available on call for emergencies. The Department supplies specified consumables and handles major repairs and parking-lot snow removal. The initial purchase order term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, and may be extended by mutual agreement in one-year increments up to a total term of seven years. The event lists a 12-month service line item and requires electronic submission through the eMACS event, including completion of the required portal prerequisites and certification and submission of the response.
