Description
Ramsey County, through its Parks & Recreation Department, is soliciting bids for construction of an entrance gate and arbor at the Discovery Hollow play area within Tamarack Nature Center. The work includes furnishing labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals; fabricating and installing a wooden gate and arbor structure to support a Corten steel entrance sign; concrete foundations; site preparation; erosion and sediment controls; tree and site protection; turf restoration; and related construction activities. The solicitation is a fixed-price construction contract. Subcontractors may be used. The contractor must submit required project materials, comply with prevailing-wage and workforce-inclusion requirements, and provide a 5% bid bond with the bid. The resulting contractor must achieve substantial completion by May 28, 2027, with work beginning no earlier than November 16, 2026, subject to the Notice to Proceed.
