The State of Washington, acting through the Department of Enterprise Services on behalf of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, is seeking approximately 1,350 BOMA rentable square feet of office space in Klickitat County. A minimum lease term of five years is required, with optional terms of up to ten years. Desired occupancy is July 1, 2025. The space must be enclosed, conditioned, code-compliant, and equipped with plumbing, power, and lighting. The planned client service office should support a public lobby with secure separation between public and staff areas, one employee office, a secure interview room for two people, two visitation rooms for four people each, an employee breakroom, conference space for four people, and touchdown space for up to two staff. Parking for one agency vehicle and three employee or customer vehicles would be advantageous. The lessor is responsible for meeting applicable Washington State Energy Code requirements, and the proposer must provide proof of ownership before lease documents are drafted.
