Description
Columbus Public Health is seeking qualified agencies to provide professional in-person interpretation services for staff and clients across public health facilities, WIC satellite clinics, homes, businesses, and other requested locations. Services include consecutive and occasional simultaneous interpretation, multilingual coverage, American Sign Language, group interpretation, emergency and same-day requests, scheduled onsite interpretation, limited translation and proofreading, appointment reminder calls, and dedicated Spanish and Haitian Creole interpreter coverage at specified locations. The contractor must support at least 7,230 interpretation hours annually, including substantial Spanish and Haitian Creole capacity, and provide emergency services within 45 minutes of request. Proposals must describe interpreter qualifications, certification and training, cultural competency, confidentiality and HIPAA-compliant operations, scheduling and communication systems, contingency planning, incident reporting, quality assurance, management, data collection, reporting, and pricing. The proposal is limited to 15 pages, with Calibri or Times New Roman 12-point font and single spacing. The contract has a one-year base term beginning April 1, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal options.
