Description
Wicomico County Public Schools is soliciting bids for 12 autonomous floor scrubbers and 24 ride-on floor scrubbers. The bid must cover both equipment categories; partial bids and separate awards by category are not accepted. The solicitation also includes three-year maintenance programs covering service and parts, and permits a three-year lease-to-own financing option with a separate attachment showing the equipment purchase cost at the end of the lease. The machines must meet detailed performance and safety specifications, including scrubber size and cleaning path, battery and charging capabilities, operating time, solution and squeegee systems, Wi-Fi connectivity, operator alerts, digital reporting, gradeability, software updates, and secure communications. Autonomous units must support autonomous operation, docking, machine avoidance, and operation across varying light levels. Bidders must provide technical information, product specification sheets, warranty information, maintenance-plan details, project references, pricing, and required certifications and affidavits. A demonstration is not required, and the addendum clarifies that the specified features F, H, I, J, L, and M apply to autonomous machines; applicable updates for ride-on machines must still be supplied under warranty at no additional cost.
