The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service is seeking three Liebert PFH014CPLN or equal propeller-fan, air-cooled condensing units rated at 208/230 volts, single-phase, 60 Hz. Units must be compatible with existing Liebert DataMate controls, indoor blowers, and air-conditioning systems; support the specified ambient temperature range; include a high-efficiency scroll compressor with hot-gas-bypass capacity control, pressure and overload protection, a high-head-pressure switch, protective coil coating, and a nitrogen holding charge. The system will be field-charged with R-407C refrigerant. The requirement also includes removal and disposal of three existing units and installation of the three replacement units. Brand-name-or-equal offers must identify the proposed brand, make, and model; provide descriptive literature demonstrating compliance with all salient characteristics; demonstrate manufacturer or authorized-distributor traceability; provide applicable manufacturer and contractor certificates of conformance; and show certification or equivalent qualification to install the Liebert condenser units. Quotations must include pricing for both the equipment and installation, with delivery requested within 60 days after receipt of order. Award is anticipated as a firm-fixed-price purchase order to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror with acceptable or neutral past performance.
