Description
The City of Thunder Bay is requesting proposals for the year-round operation of its Household Hazardous Waste Depot at the City's Solid Waste Recycling Facility. Services include resident customer service; receipt, classification, sorting, bulking, processing, packing, on-site storage management, shipment preparation, loading, transportation, diversion, and disposal of collected hazardous and special waste through licensed and City-approved facilities. The scope also includes depot maintenance, residential paint and chemical reuse services, and participation in available Producer Responsibility Programs approved by the City, including diversion of acceptable and special waste.
