The Virginia Department of Transportation is soliciting unplanned tree removal services priced by diameter at breast height (DBH) for its Prince William Residency. The scope includes 30-day and 48-hour tree removal for trees greater than 6 inches DBH across diameter ranges from greater than 6 inches through greater than 54 inches, with specified quantities for each category. Additional requirements include stump grinding using a 25-horsepower grinder with a 12-inch cutting depth, a truck-mounted attenuator with arrow board, portable trailer-mounted arrow boards, and portable temporary rumble strips for traffic control.
