Description
This project involves the replacement of two existing steel hydropneumatic tanks at booster station site numbers 05505 and 06730, and the rehabilitation of one existing steel hydropneumatic tank at booster station site number 06504. The scope of work includes surface preparation, application of protective coatings to interior surfaces, and painting of exterior surfaces for each tank. This also includes handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and wastes, installation of new tanks and re-installation of appurtenances, new wharf fire hydrants, piping, and disinfection of interior surfaces in accordance with Specifications-Section TC 33 13 13. Abrasive blast cleaning is required for all interior and exterior surfaces. For the hydropneumatic tank at booster station number 06504, which is located in a low-profile building, the contractor shall be responsible for all additional ventilation and filtration during blasting, coating, and painting operations.
