Description
The City of Edinburg is soliciting bids for comprehensive tire and fleet services supporting its Solid Waste Management Department. The scope includes new commercial, refuse, off-road, heavy-equipment, agricultural, and implement tires; retreading of municipal solid-waste fleet casings; flat repair; tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotation, valve-stem replacement, and disposal; daily pre-trip inspections; and 24/7/365 emergency on-site and roadside response. Products must meet detailed severe-service, Tier I or approved specialty-manufacturer, tread, casing, warranty, and safety-stock requirements. Retread work must use approved cold pre-cure or equivalent processes, Tier I casings, non-destructive testing, and certified plant-quality controls. Vendors must maintain local inventory, meet specified response times, provide certified technicians and equipment, and identify authorized dealership or franchised-retreader status. The bid requires pricing schedules, City-provided questionnaires and disclosure forms, an insurance certificate, a signed bidding-entity acknowledgement, and any applicable technical exception or subcontractor documentation.
