Description
This sources-sought market research notice concerns inspection, maintenance, repair, and certification of 70 horizontal lifelines and 4 ladder safety systems in various buildings. Work includes inspecting cables, anchors, attachment hardware, tracks, climbing sleeves or shuttles, fittings, anchorage brackets, and related user equipment such as lanyards and harnesses. The systems are intended to support overhead crane operations. Work is anticipated to be ordered as needed under an IDIQ arrangement for non-recurring services. Inspections and repairs must comply with the cited ANSI and OSHA standards. A registered Professional Engineer qualified in fall protection must supervise and certify or recertify the work, and trained, certified technicians must perform inspections and certifications. Interested businesses are asked to submit a capabilities statement and the two provided information and experience forms. The notice is for market research only; no contract award will result from responses.
