Description
The Village of Red Creek Highway Department is soliciting sealed bids for replacement of the Hawley Road (County Route 170) bridge over Red Creek, BIN 2210800, in Wayne County, New York. The work includes removal of the existing bridge; construction of a precast concrete voided slab structure supported by cast-in-place abutments; highway approach work; stream work; and traffic maintenance using an off-site detour. Bids must be submitted on the furnished forms with a bid guaranty of at least 5% of the bid amount, a Non-Collusion Statement, and a Proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Commitment Form. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds and insurance in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project duration is 150 days, with substantial completion and reopening to traffic required no later than October 30, 2027. The stated DBE utilization goal is 0%; minority participation and women participation goals are 5.3% and 6.9%, respectively.
