Description
The City of Pasadena Water and Power Department is seeking a contractor to provide as-needed crane services at Glenarm Power Plant. The scope includes supplying and operating hydraulic truck cranes with a minimum 110-ton capacity; certified crane operators and rigging personnel; rigging equipment and personal protective equipment; lifting, positioning, and placement of turbines, machinery, and other heavy equipment; crane maintenance; coordination with plant personnel; and regularly scheduled or emergency-response work. The contractor must comply with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, ANSI, applicable laws, City traffic-control requirements, and relevant safety standards, and must obtain required road and traffic permits, licenses, and insurance. Pricing includes hourly rental for a 110-ton hydraulic truck crane and per-permit fees. The contract is scheduled for November 2, 2026, through November 2, 2029, with work performed on an as-needed basis. Responses must include the required portal forms and acknowledgments; insurance documentation and certain licenses are required after selection rather than with the initial bid.
