Description
Cherokee County is soliciting bids for the Arnold Mill Road Sidewalk Extension Project 81014. The work covers approximately 0.138 miles along Arnold Mill Road and includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and related construction services for a 5-foot concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, aggregate base, grading, right-of-way markers, traffic control, signing and pavement markings, driveway and property-access work, utility coordination, and erosion and sedimentation controls including silt fencing, mulch, sod, permanent grassing, and erosion-control mats. The project must follow current Cherokee County and Georgia Department of Transportation standards and specifications. The contract time is 30 calendar days, beginning after the Notice to Proceed, and the bid must include a 5% bid bond. Bidders must submit the required county forms, GDOT contractor certification, contractor license certification, certificate of insurance, bid and pricing forms, completed Excel bid-items schedule, and required bonding documentation.
