Description
The Military Sealift Command is conducting a Sources Sought market-research inquiry regarding the price and availability of U.S. and foreign-flag roll-on/roll-off vessels capable of carrying military cargo, including helicopters, tracked and wheeled vehicles, and breakbulk cargo. The contemplated charter period is 66 days, with laydays commencing or canceling on December 9, 2026, and no special requirements identified. Respondents are asked to provide vessel descriptions, ramp-door and main-deck heights, daily charter-hire rates, applicable delivery or redelivery bonuses, fuel-consumption rates, militarily useful deck space, supercargo capacity, business size, and any potential subcontracting opportunities. This is a request for information only and will not be considered an offer or commit the Government to a future contract.
